A big congratulations to one of our Sunset students who received a Park County School District #6 Student Achievement Award for his exemplary behavior on the bus and his leadership by example!
He received this award for his encouragement and helpfulness not only to his own sibling, but also to other young bus riders. He has encouraged safe bus riding behavior, while being kind, respectful, cheerful, and helpful.
In his bus driver’s words . . .(his) “quiet demeanor does not often cause him to stand out with the other kids. But, I’m thankful for this opportunity to express my gratitude for his smile, his helpfulness, his gentleness, and his friendship.”
