Eastside Elementary Lights Up Learning at “STEAM & GLOW” Science Night
Cody, WY – Eastside Elementary School recently turned the classroom lights down and the creativity up for its annual Title I Science Night. This year’s theme, “STEAM & GLOW!”, gave students and families a hands-on adventure in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—all with a glowing twist.
Classrooms were transformed into vibrant, neon-lit spaces featuring a variety of hands-on activities, including: Glow Writing Fun, Neon Pattern Blocks, Glow in the Dark Oobleck, UV Bead Bracelets, Glow Geometry Shapes, Glow Slime Lab, Glowing Catapults, Neon Circuit Robots, Neon Art Mazes with Sphero Robots, Air Powered Straw Rockets, Glow Code Bracelets, and more! Every corner of the school offered an interactive experience designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
Families also enjoyed a dinner of pizza, salad, cake, and drinks while connecting with teachers and fellow students. One parent remarked, “This is the most fun we’ve had at a Science Night!”
Eastside Elementary’s STEAM & GLOW Night celebrates the school’s dedication to hands-on, student-centered learning. By blending glowing visual effects with engaging STEAM activities, the event inspired young minds to explore, experiment, and imagine in ways that will last far beyond the night.
